Ready to be blown away? Here’s just a few of the things that people do with a keyboard and a computer. Oh, and a lot of time. For the purpose of this post I’ll show you the thumbnail first so that you can really be blown away.

Quick tip before we blow your socks off. ASCII art is best viewed from far away. So don’t be afraid to get up and look at it from far away. Otherwise you might not get the full effect.

This is one of my favorite. Shark pictures are usually pretty cool, but this one is something special.

And finally we have one that isnt just made of random symbols. It has words.

Really took the “a picture is worth a thousand words” to heart didnt they?

Wow! I have seen these before with small things like the year (usually done for New Year’s Day) and my name, but I don’t think I have honestly seen things like this. These are pretty neat. Is there a way to learn how to do that? I would love to.

Oh,
this is amazing! Really nice and different.
But you have to see this site/application, where you can asciify any of your images:

These are amazing. So many levels more complex and shaded than any ascii art I’ve seen before.

These are one of the best ASCII arts I have seen in quite some time. I have always been using them on social networking sites. The fact that these are made by just a keyboard and a computer was unknown to me. I thought there must be some software for this. Now this seems some real hard work. But then, at least we get to see such pretty pictures.
