Carl Warner is a commercial and professional photographer. He is perhaps most well-known for the making and photography of food landscapes, but you have also seen his work in commercials for food companies. Unfortunately, other information about this very talented photographer is difficult to find. Enjoy the magical images! (And love the healthy foods.)

If you look carefully in each photo you will find different kinds of foods, even ice cream!

And yes, each landscape is made entirely of food.

Bread, some sort of sauce for the sea, potatoes, salad, and a pea pod for the boat.

A sea of red cabbage threatens a boat of what is perhaps a gourd.

This is my favorite. The atmosphere is wonderful. So is the set-up. :)

Ok, Now I think I have seen everything! Very creative. I am not sure I understand how they are made. That does not matter. They are wonderful.

It’s not just the creativity and imagination of Carl Warner that amazes me, the feel that his food-scenery settings awake inside me is what I can’t help myself but admire… :)

What a trip…..my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed these images. We kept asking “how did he do this?” Our favorite one was the balloons over the ice cream valley. Yum Yum! Thank you for sharing.

Ah! These are awesome, aren’t they? I truly consider Carl Warner a genius. I’ve always been absolutely inspired by his art. And it’s not just the creativity of it all but also his absolutely incredible use (as well as creation) of techniques to ‘play with the food’ and create this incredible and magical foodscapes.

He is absolutely brilliant and deserve all the credit he can get. Another amazing food artist is the hungarian Balla Tamás. Usually nobody know who he is, but everybody at a time or another have already seen some of his creations.

Oh! And before I forget the sea on 3rd photo in here is actually made of thiny slices of salmon. Gotta love Warner! =)

Never watch these before you eat! I am in love with the color variations as well as the textures and shapes. This is imagination at its best. I think my favorites are all the ones of balloons since hot air balloons are some of my favorite things in the world! If you have not ever been to a balloon lift, you have missed something. I used to go to the October Balloon show in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is sponsored by Kodak, and when film was in vogue, some of the most fantastic shots were made there!! Hot air balloons…now there’s a subject for a post?????
