Landscape watercolor paintings: Elizabeth Stanley

I met one very interesting, 12 year-old young lady this past Saturday. Her name is Elizabeth Stanley. She travels overseas sometimes and meets children in other countries.

A short while ago Elizabeth took a watercolor painting class for the first time and she painted this landscape watercolor painting below.

I was quite impressed with the result and invited her to email me her artwork so I could feature it in today’s post. She did. :)

Quite something nice. I never could get anything done with watercolors but it’s nice to see others use them. Very impressive work. She definetely has some talent, keep us up to date.

Wow! Thank you guys so much! I just took the 4-H class, expecting to paint a picture, and I never thought it would end up on an art blog!!!

Wow! She’s 12? That is some beautiful work. The details and colors are all just very well done. Scenery isn’t easy. Elizabeth has talent. :)
