Lake Cerknica is an intermittent lake near the city of Cerknica in the European country of Slovenia. This lake is a bit different from most; it is filled mainly by autumn rains and the early spring thaw which ends in May or June, sometimes even later. Photography was my companion since my early years. I still clearly remember the first camera I ever received. It was my 10th birthday and the camera was a Beirette 35 mm. I always had to ask my parents for money to buy black and white film rolls.
